Portuguese phrases for your trip

Common Phrases to expand your vocabulary

Yes  – Sim

No – Não

Please – Por Favor

Thank You – Obrigado/Obrigada.  The word for “thank you” in Portuguese is gender specific and changes depending on who is saying it. So, if you identify as male, you say obrigado, and if female, you say obrigada.

You're welcome – De nada

I'm sorry – Desculpe
