We had the perfect mix of planned tours and downtime - we were very happy with the attention to detail of our trip - there was absolutely nothing that we would have changed about it! From start to finish the trip Quest put together was seamless. All our drivers turned up on time, whether for airport connections or tours. The hotels were all excellent. All the small group excursions booked for us had wonderful guides - they spoke great English and were very knowledgeable. The restaurant recommendations we received from Quest for both Lisbon and the Azores were definitely worth having. We tried several of them and had some wonderful meals. All in all a fantastic stress-free vacation. Ryan at Quest was responsive to all our questions in a timely manner. Thank you!

The Azores are beautiful and Porto is a very interesting city but be prepared for walking on hilly cobblestone streets. We enjoyed the guided tours arranged for us. The guides were both personable and knowledgeable. From flights to airport pickup to tours all followed the itinerary Erika had prepared. Of note our guide for the Douro valley wine/port tasting tour did an amazing job in less than ideal weather conditions. Thank you Erika for taking our preferences and crafting this wonderful tour.

The Azores and Madeira trip did not disappoint. Both destinations are quite diverse in a variety of ways, yet I appreciate their common cultural thread. It was beneficial to get a taste of both, and to soak in the beauty and pulse of these very special islands! There were jaw dropping moments and also peaceful pauses. I now have a greater understanding of these places and what I would like to see and do for a future return trip. Overall, I loved seeing all of the plant life! Unreal! My excursions were truly fun, informative and exciting, but I also really enjoyed my down time, along with the stays at the chosen hotels. The locations of the hotels were ideal. It was so easy to take off on foot. There was so very much to do in the historic districts right at your fingertips. I appreciated the easy access to the waterfronts, museums, restaurants, botanical gardens and of course, the great people watching in both Ponta Delgada and Funchal. I also felt very safe in these destinations as a female solo traveller. Additionally, the planned airport transfers were an added bonus. Having a lot of these details taken care of for me alleviated a lot of stress. Overall, I definitely recommend this trip to anyone who is at all curious about these islands. Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the overall order and organization of working with Quest Travel. Lorri Hill was above and beyond helpful, and answered all of my questions with efficiency. Many thanks!

The trip was fantastic! Everything went very smoothly along the way. The rental car went off without a hitch during pickup and the car was very nice. The whale watching went super well, it was a gorgeous day we saw some amazing animals with a great team on the boat. The list of ideas in each area was also very helpful to plan on things to do as we went along. Portugal is now one of our favorite countries we've ever traveled to. We loved the country, the food and the people. the Herdade you booked us into in Alentejo was a highlight for sure. Joao and Pedro in Porto and Douro were phenomenal tour guides. We can't wait to go back and see more.

My journey to the Azores was an incredible learning experience. We got to see and take in so many different facets of Terceira and Sao Miguel. Erika was so full of information for us with lots of tidbits to share. All of the people were warm and welcoming. All of the restaurants were unique, and we got a true flavor of each island. We had a great experience taking in the evening food tour with our great group. And then having the Cozido lunch was amazing. The guides on each island or on our excursions were well versed what they were sharing with us and were excited to share it with us. Everything was clean and respected. I still can't believe we got so much in on your visit; bathing pools, lava caves, the Jeep tour, tea and pineapple plantation all mixed in with a bit of luck to get into the wine museum. I will have to go back and get into the hot springs! Thank you for including me! It makes such a difference to see it.

This was definitely 5 stars from beginning to end. Erika knows so much about the Azores and you can see how passionate she is about the islands and the people. We really had a chance to see the beauty of the islands and the FOOD! Everything was perfect! I wouldn't use anyone else for the Azores!

We had a wonderful adventure in the Azores for our Food, Wine, Tea, Nature and Cultural tour - Every detail was handled meticulously by Erika at Quest Travel Adventures - From organizing itinerary, booking flights, accommodations, guides, transportation and local tours! We had an amazing time in the Azores! The food was by far my favorite part of the trip. The natural beauty of the islands was so impressive and I felt like a professional photographer as every picture I took looked like it could go in a catalogue. The trip details were planned from start to finish and we felt taken care of along the way by our Quest Travel Adventures account manager and all the people they connected us to along the way in the islands. I think that the day trip to Pico island was my favorite part, as it was so different from all the other islands. I highly recommend Quest Travel Adventures to arrange your Azores trip and I can't wait to go back.

Wonderful trip. The hotels and excursions were great. We had the same guide for our three days of excursions and he was knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.

This trip was unbelievably wonderful! The agenda of spectacles was clearly the right set of choices for our interests, and the tour guides were polite and knowledgeable. Our hotels were modestly priced and beautiful accommodations with the right arrangement for my whole family — including those of us traveling with children. The transfers were rock-solid reliable, always in the right place at the time with the right kind of vehicle. Quest made our vacation flawless.

We had a fantastic time in Lisbon and Porto, Portugal. Portugal really is a hidden treasure! What made it even more enjoyable and comfortable was Ryan from Quest Travel Adventures who did a fantastic job setting everything up for us. The hotels were lovely, with great ammenities and breakfasts and friendly, helpful staffs. They were also perfectly, centrally locatd. We walked miles and miles and climbed so many hills, without having to venture more than walking distances from the hotels. The foodie walking tour in Lisbon and Sintra day trip were both perfect. The tour guides were knowledgable, didn't rush us, and made sure everyone had a great time. The day trip to the Duoro valley with the boat ride, lunch and wine tasting was a highlight of the trip. Such a beautiful area, and we learned so much. Our last tour was took us out of our neighborghood in Porto and over to the other side of the river for more sights and views and a port tasting. Again, we really enjoyed the tour and the small groups. Thanks again to Ryan for setting up the perfect trip. I have already recommended him to several friends. Thanks!

We were so happy with our Portugal trip. We spent three days in Lisbon, four days in Porto, and four days in Ponta Delgada in the Azores. Every detail worked seamlessly. The airport transfers were right on time, the small group tours (one in each city) were fantastic and informative, and the written information we received before the trip were very helpful and reassuring. Our hotels in Lisbon and Porto were absolutely fantastic and felt truly luxurious. The hotel in Ponta Delgada was quite outdated, but we got the sense that hotels are not a strength in Ponta Delgada. If you are planning to go there, you should have a conversation with your trip planner about where you will stay. I would recommend Quest to anyone who wants to explore Portugal. I usually plan all our trips myself, but I did not have to deal with one detail this time. Ryan did a better job than I could have and the trip was a great value!

We had a great trip. Lisbon is such a beautiful, cosmopolitan city. Fun to walk around if you're feeling adventurous. Quest did a great job of taking care of the trip details so that we could just relax, explore and enjoy. We also loved, loved, loved Madeira! An island full with a million things to do! We can't wait to go back and spend more time there! Again, Quest Travel took care of the details so our transfers, flights and tours were all exceptional and our guides were top notch. I would definitely travel with Quest Travel Adventures again. Their staff was a pleasure to work with.

This trip was so much fun. I told my travel advisor that I wanted to visit as many hot springs as possible and she created an itinerary that included a visit every day! Quest Travel Adventures carefully planned the trip so we were driving on safe roads that didn't have any issues with closures due to bad weather. The accommodations were perfect - simple and clean. Reykjavik was an amazing city to explore on foot and we spent a day on the hop on/off bus so we could learn and see as much as possible. Each activity planned was so much fun, my favorite being the hike on the glacier. This trip was really well organized and I all definitely travel with Quest again in the future.

We liked Sao Miguel very much. The people are very nice, food is great and the bathrooms are very clean. This is a beautiful island and you will really love it if you like to hike and explore. Try the cozida in Furnas. It is a stew that is cooked in the ground - very good. Quest (Ryan) was very good and helpful in picking the perfect tours for us.

We had an amazing time on our trip to Sao Miguel and Madeira! It was overall very well organized and our itinerary for tours were thoughtfully planned. It was very easy to make the trip the length we wanted and also to have some of our suggestions included in our itinerary. All tours and transfers were very professional and made sure we had a good time. I definitely recommend using the company.

Our trip to the Azores in May 2024 was absolutely amazing. Quest Travel and especially Ryan did a fantastic job of making sure everything went smoothly. Ryan's email with information such as restaurants and sights to see with our free time was wonderful. It helped us to organize our time and see the most during our trip. We visited 2 islands and the hotels were very different in each place yet both were fantastic. Every tour guide we had was so informative and went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful day and saw as much as possible of each island. We found our tour guide Ivo, was exceptional. He arranged so many wonderful activities such as natural swimming pools, lava cave visit, cheese factory visit and a wonderful restaurant location for our local Terceira island meal. He was so informative and we all were so impressed by Ivo's knowledge of his home island. I will certainly recommend Quest Travel to friends and family in the future. Thank you for making this special trip even more wonderful than we imagined.

One of our best vacations of all time! Our 8 day trip that was split between the Azores and Madeira was perfectly curated by Quest and Lorri Hill. We will absolutely use them again.

Our trip to the Azores was above and beyond expectations! First our contact person, Ryan Earley, was organized, professional and easy to deal with for payments etc. The itinerary was well thought out and allowed for a variety of activities. Also I liked the tour day, then a day on our own, very nicely planned. Ryan also sent many recommendations for restaurants, walking tours and activities for our free days. Overall would highly recommend Quest Travel to others and will use in the future.

My adventure to Madeira with Quest Travel Adventures was excellent! Almost everything went without a hitch. The tours were well planned and the transfers and transportation were perfect.
