Why we like it: Small gem of a restaurant where things are cheap and made to order. The seafood stew is a speciality and worth a try. If you are more than 2 people, we recommend making a reservation.

Why we like it: Cozy and charming, this is a great place to sample homemade Portuguese food. The restaurant translation, ‘at my home,’ gives you the feeling that these recipes are from family traditions handed down from generation to generation.

Why we like it: Fresh fish and traditional flavors! Located in the harbor of the town of Sao Mateus, this restaurant is as local as it gets. The location is in the town next to Angra and is a 10-minute taxi ride.
