Day 3:
Whale & Dolphin Watch, Mt. Teide
Today, set out on whale and dolphin watch, one of the “must-do” activities while in Tenerife. Just a 15-minute boat ride away from shore, you'll have the chance to spot bottle nose dolphins, pilot whales, and up to 21 other marine species that are common in this area. Since so many of these beautiful creatures inhabit the waters of the Canary Islands, visitors are practically guaranteed to spot marine life every day of the year! This evening, you’ll visit Las Cañadas National Park, home to Mt. Teide. This park is characterized by its unique, lunar landscape and beautiful plant life. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2007, Mt. Teide is an iconic attraction and a must-see for visitors. Tonight, you'll experience why Tenerife is one of the best locations on the planet for stargazing; its clear skies, low light pollution, and high altitude will allow you to see the night sky like never before.
