Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Welcome to São Vincente

Enjoy free time to explore the city capital of Mindelo or head to the city beach, Praia da Laginha, for a taste of the light colored sand and turquoise waters that Cabo Verde is known for.

Day 2:

Monte Verde and island exploration

Start the day with a visit to the summit of Monte Verde, the highest point on the island at 750m, which offers breathtaking views of Mindelo and the surrounding coastline. Then tour the island's attractions like the Lunar Landscape, Baía das Gatas, and the traditional fishing village of Salamansa.

Day 3:

Morning ferry to Santo Antão and walk the Cova to Paùl Valley

Start in Cova, a famous volcano crater, transformed into cassava cultivation fields, potatoes and other vegetables. Enjoy the stunning descent, winding through the beautiful Paúl Valley, to Cabo da Ribeira.

Day 4:

Santo Antão southwest

Discovery of the more remote southwest part of the island, through volcanic landscapes, pozzolana fields where you will see beautiful isolated villages.

Day 5:

Discover the villages of Santo Antão and ferry back to Mindelo

Discover the most beautiful little villages on the island. Enjoy places like Garça, Chã de Igreja, Cruzinha, and Coculi. In the afternoon transfer back to São Vincente and enjoy the last evening with a meal with traditional Cape Verdean music at a local restaurant
