Three Island Cabo Verde Tour

In the middle of your trip, take a short flight over to the island of Sao Vicente. You will find more stunning beaches, as well as breathtaking inland landscapes and the vibrant capital city of Mindelo. From Sao Vicente, the island of Santo Antão can be reached by ferry. The second-largest island in the archipelago, Santo Antão is also famous for its mountainous terrain.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Welcome to Sal

Upon arrival at Sal International Airport, you’ll be met by your driver and brought to your beach resort hotel in Santa Maria, just a 20-minute drive to the south. The rest of the day is yours to spend however you would like - let the relaxation begin!

Day 2:

Tour of Sal Island

Enjoy a full-day tour of the island of Sal and get to know the culture of Cabo Verde. Begin with a drive towards the main village of Espargos, stopping at Morro do Coral hill. From this viewpoint, you can enjoy a beautiful vista of the village and its surroundings. Enjoy a walking tour of Espargos village and get a look at the day-to-day life of its residents. Continue onto the fishing village of Palmeira, then to Terra Boa, the agricultural area of the island. At Salinas de Pedra de Lume, a low-elevation salt crater, you will have a chance to float in water with a salt content that is 26 times greater than the ocean. It is said to be very relaxing and healing for the skin. After lunch, the tour returns to the southern part of the island to Ponta Preta Beach. Each year, this beach hosts a windsurfing championship. Finish the day by visiting the village market, the famous Fisherman's Wharf, and Santa Maria Beach.

Day 3:

Free Day on Santa Maria Beach

Today is yours to enjoy on your own. Lounge in the sun by the pool or on the beautiful beach in Santa Maria.

Day 4:

Catamaran Sailing

Board the catamaran Odissee IV and sail along the south and west coasts of Sal. While on the west coast, you will have the chance to swim and snorkel in the beautiful waters of Cabo Verde.

Day 5:

Free Day

Enjoy another relaxing day at the beach or pool.

Day 6:

Welcome to Sao Vicente

After a quick inter-island flight, you will arrive on the island of Sao Vicente. Your driver will transfer you into Mindelo, where you will spend the next 4 nights. Spend the rest of your day exploring this vibrant city.

Day 7:

Tour of Sao Vicente Island

Set out on a full day tour of Sao Vicente, including historical points in Mindelo and amazing lunar landscapes, beautiful beaches, and quaint fishing villages.

Day 8:

Day Trip to Santo Antão

Take a ferry from Sao Vicente over to the island of Santo Antão, known for its green, mountainous landscapes. Spend the day touring the island, stopping in small villages and places where nature has been untouched.

Day 9:

Free Day

Your last full day in Cabo Verde is yours to enjoy as you see fit. Spend the day exploring the streets of Mindelo or head to the beach for some more sun!
