Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1:

Welcome to the Azores

Upon arrival at Ponta Delgada International Airport, you’ll be met by a private driver and brought to your hotel in the city's center. You will depart for Flores tomorrow, so spend the rest of the day exploring the cobblestone streets of the Azores’ largest city. Visit the Portas da Cidade (city gate), the historic St. Sebastian Church, and Forte de São Brás, or simply relax in a café near the marina.

Day 2:

Flight to Flores

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel for a pre-departure orientation and gear-check. Head to Ponta Delgada airport for your inter-island flight to Flores. After arriving in Santa Cruz, you will be met by a guide for a tour of the local surroundings, including Sete Lagoas, Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro, Rocha dos Bordões, Lages and Fajã Grande.

Day 3:

Hiking and canyoning

After breakfast, it’s time to visit the first canyoning spot: Além Inferior (a very accessible canyon – perfect for an introduction to canyoning). Later, after a picnic lunch, you will hike the Fanais Trail with a local guide who will show you incredible places and views.

Day 4:

Canyoning

Today you will experience a full day of canyoning. You will be amazed at the raw, natural beauty that Flores offers.

Day 5:

Canyoning or Visit to Corvo

You have a choice to make today: another full day of canyoning OR a visit to Corvo, the smallest island in the Azores. If you select Corvo, you will travel via zodiac, taking in coastal caves and mesmerizing views of Caldeirão. You’ll spend the day exploring this rugged and secluded island.

Day 6:

Gastronomical and Cultural Tour of Flores

Spend your last full day on Flores taking a cultural tour of what the island has to offer and tasting some of the local specialities. In the evening, end your tour with a friendly farewell dinner - a great way to say goodbye and savor the memories of this amazing adventure!

Day 7:

Until Next Time

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for an inter-island flight back to Sao Miguel. From here, you can board your flight home or stay in Ponta Delgada for a few extra days.
